If you haven't stopped by the Nuts & Bolts OnLine store lately... take a look at the new Cobia Candy jigs and eels.   Reports are in from southeast Florida, and the cobia are there in big numbers.   Folks are having great hook-up success with the Cobia Candy rigs.   These fish get used to seeing the same old feather jigs and will come up to them, then turn away.   Charter captains who are using the Cobia Candy jigs are getting postive hook-ups.     They're also using 1/4 oz Whoop Ass jigs in the shad or chartreuse colors to slam the Spanish Mackerel.   Key is to cast them out and let them sink, with a slight twitch every now and then... before starting to retrieve.  The jig sinks below the smaller fish on top, and the big boys just can't seem to resist them.

The Nuts & Bolts On Line store is going through some major changes right now, and we'll soon be unveiling the new store with a whole new look.  That means our shopping cart is down for the moment.   Find what you like and then drop me an email  cefus@nutsandboltsfishing.com  and we'll get your order taken care of and shipped immediately.

Measure the fish, not with a ruler, but rather by the size of the smile on the angler's face.

Hope them Cobia return to the Broad River this year.  If they do I will put some Cobia Candy in front of their nose.  I can't ever remember seeing as many Redfish on the flats as this year. Might be my new tech equipment. ;D
A few pics from the past to stir some interest in Cobia.
