The Honey Bun Kid

« on: April 01, 2011, 06:30:42 PM »

Still waiting for boat to get it's spring time tune-up.   Rain last week slowed everything down.

Wind is blowing a steady 20 on the lake right now, and doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon.   So, spent the day doing more honey-do's.    Pressure washed the deck, railings, underpinning lattice work, and some of the siding.    Then painted the siding, lattice work, soffits, gutters, etc.   Just waiting on wind to die down a little so I can apply the deck stain/waterproofing to it.

Just about worn out.    I foresee a big whisky drink in my future.... about 5 minutes after I get out of the shower.

Measure the fish, not with a ruler, but rather by the size of the smile on the angler's face.

After a day like that, I've been known to take one of those drinks into the shower with me!  :D
