Great fishing can be had right now.   Big snapper are on the prowl.    I'm talking 30 incher's.   Just gotta find them.

Gags are plentiful, but have to be thrown back.  Thanks Uncle Sam and NOAA and NMFS !!!  :P >:(

Spanish are in big groups and a 3/8 oz WhoopAss jig or a small Clark spoon will get them to the boat, and lots of them.  Cobia are also on the move, and usually if you see one, another will be close behind.   Live baits pitched to them or a Cobia Candy will get the job done.

If you want to play with the kings, now is the time!   This big boy was caught last week off Mexico Beach.

Inshore, trout and reds are taking to their summer patterns on grass flats and deeper holes.

If you're lucky, you can find some blue water and pick up a couple chicken dolphin on jigs or plugs too.

Get out there and do some catching!

Measure the fish, not with a ruler, but rather by the size of the smile on the angler's face.

Sitting at the desk earning a living, looking at the river through the security bars on the window I find it comforting that someone is catching fish. Thanks....... ;)
