Had a blast up in north GA yesterday filming a new TV episode with Jimmy Harris of Unicoi Outfitters.    Fished the headwaters of the Chattahoochee, aka Nacoochee Bend.    Big fish, and plenty of them.   The morning was plenty cool, and that had the fish sluggish.  But when the sun got a little higher in the sky, the fishing really heated up.

Rainbows to about 8 pounds.   A few wild (bred in the stream) rainbows, and a really nice brown trout...also a wild fish.

Virtually every fish was caught on an attractor with a dropper nymph combination.  And the nymphs were so small, I could barely see them, much less tie one on my leader.  These were #18's and as small as #22's.    Water was really clear, and the stream was flowing well.

Spent some time getting some underwater shots too.

For some more pics from the production, check out the Nuts & Bolts Facebook page album called Unicoi Outfitters Trout.

Great time, great fun!
